After the most delightful debut of our Craft & Cream Tea in June 2025, we are positively thrilled to announce the return of this charming gathering for a new season of creativity and convivial company. Much like a well-anticipated social event of the season, our Appleton Suite will once again open its doors to makers of every persuasion.
Whether your talents lie in crochet, knitting, cross-stitch, sewing, needle felting, or any other crafty pursuit, you are warmly invited to spend a leisurely afternoon among kindred spirits. Bring your current project—or simply your curiosity—and settle in for a most agreeable day of creativity.

Upon arrival in the elegant Appleton Suite (with convenient ground-floor access), you will be welcomed with your choice of tea, coffee, or locally sourced cordial, accompanied by a delicious pastry to begin the day in proper style.
This season brings a few delightful improvements:
• Guests will be seated at beautiful round tables, perfect for conversation and crafting alike
• Our afternoon tea will be served on elegant tiered stands, just as tradition intended
• We are proud to offer a new and improved vegetarian and gluten-free selection, ensuring everyone may indulge in the festivities
🧶 The Order of the Afternoon
11:30 – Arrive, take your seat, and enjoy a warm drink with a freshly baked pastry
12:00 – Settle in for a relaxed afternoon of crafting, chatting, and meeting fellow makers
14:00 – A most splendid afternoon tea will be served: savouries, delicate sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and cakes, accompanied by more tea, coffee, or cordial
16:00 – Carriages… or at least farewells… until we meet again
 
Whether you attend solo or with your most accomplished crafty companions, you may expect a warm welcome and excellent company. You may even discover a new craft to fall utterly in love with.
